Eligibility
A refund request may be made by the person named on the invoice or by an authorised billing contact. Seats purchased as a bundle (Calibration Lab or Channel Residency) are treated as one enrolment unless we agree in writing to split them.
Timeframe
Full refund: request received at least 14 full days before the published start date of the programme. Partial refund: request received fewer than 14 days before start, or after start but before the halfway session. After the halfway session, fees are non-refundable except where Datatracebase cancels or where Thai consumer law requires otherwise.
Full or partial amounts
A full refund returns 100% of tuition paid for that invoice, minus any non-refundable items listed below. A partial refund returns 50% of tuition if cancellation occurs before the halfway session. If we move a date by more than seven days and you cannot attend, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to a later cohort at no extra tuition.
Non-refundable items
Bank transfer fees charged by your bank, VAT already remitted where it cannot be reclaimed, travel and lodging for Silom on-site days, and printed materials already shipped. Alumni reading-list access that has been used for more than 30 days is not refunded separately; it is bundled with tuition.
Refund process
Email info@datatracebase.digital with subject “Refund”, the invoice number, seat type, and reason. We confirm receipt within two working days and decide within ten working days. Approved refunds are paid back by the same method used to settle the invoice (typically bank transfer to the originating account).
Processing time and method
Once approved, expect the funds to leave our account within 15 working days. International transfers may take longer on the receiving side. We do not refund in cash at the Silom office and we do not issue store credit in place of money unless you ask for a cohort transfer instead.
Cancellation by you
You may cancel by the same email address. If you simply stop attending without notice, that is not a cancellation and does not start the refund clock. You may nominate a substitute colleague for a Scorecard Seat up to five days before start; we may refuse a substitute who lacks the data access the syllabus requires.
Cancellation by Datatracebase
If we cancel a cohort for instructor illness, venue failure, or under-enrolment, you receive a full refund of tuition paid or a transfer, at your choice. We are not responsible for non-refundable flights.
Exceptions
Serious breach of the terms (for example, redistributing recordings) may result in removal without refund. If a session cannot run because you failed to provide required exports after two reminders, that absence is treated as your cancellation after start. Statutory rights under Thai law that cannot be waived remain available.
